The 12th Barcelona Debates on the Human Microbiome welcomed more than 200 participants and 24 leading experts to Barcelona on June 25–26 for two days dedicated to the latest developments in microbiome research.
Through sessions spanning host genetics, immunity, diet, women’s health, the gut–brain axis, and global microbiome initiatives, the meeting provided a comprehensive overview of current challenges and opportunities in the field.
The scientific programme was complemented by 39 Poster Flash Communications, offering researchers the opportunity to present and discuss their latest discoveries with the international microbiome community.
