The 10th edition of The Barcelona Debates on the Human Microbiome was successfully held on June 27–28 at CosmoCaixa, Barcelona, marking the 10th anniversary of this influential international meeting. The event brought together faculty and attendees from around the world, reinforcing its role as a key platform for sharing the latest findings and exploring future directions in microbiome research.
The first day of the conference coincided with World Microbiome Day, which was celebrated with a special cultural activity featuring a performance by a group of Castellers, inviting participants to actively take part. To encourage broad participation, a free early bird registration was once again offered, with registrations remaining open until the start of the event.
The scientific program included the presentation of 38 scientific posters, offering valuable insights into ongoing research and fostering discussion among participants. We sincerely thank all attendees and contributors for helping to make this anniversary edition an engaging and memorable event for the microbiome research community.
