The 8th edition of The Barcelona Debates on the Human Microbiome was successfully held on June 30 and July 1, 2022, at CosmoCaixa, Barcelona, reaffirming its position as a well-established international meeting of reference. The event brought together leading experts and a wide audience to discuss human and microbial health, focusing on the complex interactions between human cells and the microorganisms that inhabit the human body.
Following the improved public health situation, the conference returned to its original in-person format, enabling rich scientific exchange and discussion. We sincerely thank all speakers and participants for contributing to a productive and engaging meeting.
