The 5th edition of The Barcelona Debates on the Human Microbiome, entitled From Microbes to Medicines, was held on June 20–21, 2019, at CosmoCaixa, Barcelona. The meeting brought together researchers from around the world to discuss the role of the microbiome in human health and disease.
The scientific program included the presentation of research findings on the influence of the microbiome in conditions such as multiple sclerosis, cancer, and HIV infection, fostering insightful discussion and knowledge exchange. We sincerely thank all speakers and participants for contributing to a stimulating and productive scientific meeting.
